You don't have to have kids to qualify for going to a doctor. Here they offer dentistry, health care, and mental health wellness. All you need to do is going in with basic knowledge of how much money you make, your photo ID (state or Driver's ID), and be ready to fill out some basic paper work. The ladies at the desk are always nice and willing to help so never feel like your in over your head. They can help you fill out the paper work by simplifying the questions or explaining them.
A good example is me... I barely make enough money to put fuel in the tank of my vehicle let alone get food. Medical insurance is purely out of the question for me. I go here and can be seen with a payment plan of twenty dollars a visit. That granted does not cover medication expenses but it gets me seen which is better then going to the ER when needing a simple diagnoses such as the flu for antibiotics or being the fact I am a hypothyroid patient and state refusal to cover because I can't have a child due to this illness I can't afford a personal doctor, thus going here is my option. Think about it...
Update to CHAS program: The Chas program is not a one stop cure all medical clinic. If you are diagnosed with a sever medical condition in which nurses are unable to help with, you will be referred to a specialist. They are still good to go to for if your sick and need antibiotics but serious conditions such as crones or hypothyroidism you will need to seek out a primary care doctor.
